About Us

Ashbourne and District Camera Club

We are a long-established society having been in existence since the 1960s. We currently have around 30 members at various levels of competence from beginners to more experienced photographers. The more experienced are always ready to share their expertise.

559437_10150899346199429_34949457_nWe meet weekly on Wednesdays at 8pm from September until the beginning of May. Club meetings take place at All Saints Community Hall, Belle Vue Road, Ashbourne, DE6 1AT. The programme is a mixture of talks by our own members, other photographers and internal and inter-club competitions. See our programme page for more details.

In the summer break we take have a club outing, usually in July, and put on an exhibition at the Ashbourne Show in August.

Currently the annual subscription is £50 plus £1 per meeting attended. Non-members £3 per meeting, but the first meeting is free. Visitors are always welcome. Come along and meet us.

The club is a member of the North and East Midlands Photographic Federation (NEMPF).
